Who we are and what this covers
This notice explains what Devoilee LLC ("Dévoilée," "we," "us") collects when you visit devoilee.com, take the Confidence Compass quiz, buy the guide, or book a session, and what we do with it. It applies to this website and the emails we send from it. It does not cover the planners, vendors, or venues you work with on your own.

What we collect
We collect only what you give us and what your browser sends when you visit.

• When you take the Confidence Compass quiz, we collect your first name, email address, and your answers to the 12 questions. We use them to score your results, show you a personalized results page, and send you the emails you asked for.

• When you buy the guide or a service, we collect your name, email, billing details, and the tier you chose, so we can deliver what you bought and keep a record of the sale. Card numbers go to Stripe and never reach us.

• When you book a session, we collect your name, email, and the time you picked, through Google Calendar, to hold the appointment and send reminders.

• When you email us or reply to our emails, we keep what you write so we can answer you and keep track of your planning with us.

• When you browse the site, your browser sends your IP address, device and browser type, and the pages you view. Our website platform and any advertising or analytics tags we run set cookies. We use this to keep the site working, understand which pages people use, and measure our ads.

We do not ask for your date of birth, wedding guest list, or anything about your guests. If you share details about your wedding in a session or an email, we keep them only to do the work you hired us for.
How we use it and who sees it
We use your information to deliver what you asked for, answer you, send the emails you signed up for, run and improve the site, and meet our legal and tax obligations. We do not sell your personal information and we do not rent our list. We do not use it to make automated decisions that affect you beyond the quiz result you see on screen.
The only people outside Dévoilée who handle your information are the services that run the business for us, and each is bound by its own privacy terms:

• Wix hosts the site, stores quiz submissions, and sends our emails

• Stripe processes payments

• Google provides our calendar booking, email, and document storage

• Advertising and analytics providers, such as Google and Meta, if we run ads or measure traffic

We will also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or someone's safety, or as part of a sale or transfer of the business, in which case this notice still applies until you are told otherwise.
Your choices
You can ask us at any time to show you the information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Email privacy@devoilee.com and we will respond within 30 days. We may ask you to confirm it is really you before we act. We will never charge you or treat you differently for asking.
Every marketing email we send has an unsubscribe link. Using it stops marketing emails within 10 business days; we will still send you receipts and session confirmations you have paid for. You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings, and the site will still work, though some features may be limited.
If you live in a state with its own privacy law, such as California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas, or Oregon, you may have additional rights under that law, including the right to opt out of targeted advertising and to appeal a decision we make on your request. Email us and we will honor them. We honor Global Privacy Control signals from your browser as an opt-out of targeted advertising where that applies.
Keeping it safe, and for how long
The site runs over HTTPS, payments are handled by Stripe, and only the two of us have access to your records. No system is perfectly secure, so if we learn of a breach involving your information we will tell you as Florida law requires.
We keep quiz submissions and email subscriptions until you ask us to delete them or unsubscribe. We keep purchase records for seven years for tax purposes. Session notes are kept for the length of our work together and deleted within a year after your wedding unless you ask us to keep them.
This site is for adults planning their own weddings. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18, and if we learn we have, we delete it.
We will post any changes to this notice here and update the effective date. If a change affects how we use information you have already given us, we will email you first.
